CWRP Virtual Public Information Session
Please Join the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District FireSmart and Emergency Services Team in an information session regarding Community Wildfire Resiliency Plans for the Alberni Valley (including Tseshaht First Nation and Hupacasath First Nation) and the Bamfield/Anacla (including Huu-ay-aht First Naiton) areas.
CWRPs are important tools in wildfire mitigation planning – they identify areas of heightened wildfire risk and make recommendations on how to mitigate vulnerabilities that our values have to damage from wildfire. The purpose of this session is to introduce the CWRP projects, outline the methodology used, and inform residents and partners on how they may be involved or impacted by the project. We invite any and all members of the public to join and learn about the project as we kick-off our first public information session.
Details on how to join this event will be updated Here.
