A Success Story - One Year Later

Well done Alberni Valley!

Today we mark one year since we rolled out the three-stream curbside waste collection program, and we are declaring it a success.

Thanks to your participation in the Sort’nGo program, per month the Alberni Valley produced 44% less garbage and 30% more recycling. We collected an average of 182 tonnes of organics per month. The benefits of this work is outlined in the graphic below.
