West Coast Transit Survey

Help us implement public transportation on the West Coast!

The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD), in collaboration with its West Coast Committee member First Nations, municipalities and agencies, has been developing an interim public transit service. This service is intended to be implemented until such time that the provincial government can contribute funding towards a BC Transit-administered service on the West Coast. This interim transit service is envisioned to be one that can be locally funded and developed with the support and involvement of key community, transportation, health, and hospitality stakeholders in the area.

Based on work completed over the last few months guided by a Project Steering Committee, the project team has put together draft schedules and routing for this proposed service. We want your feedback on whether the proposed schedules will work for you and/or the people in your household who might use this service to get to work, school, appointments, shopping, recreational activities, etc.

The objective of this survey is to ensure that final schedules will get people to where they want to go within a reasonable timeframe.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will be open for responses until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16th.  All responses will be kept confidential.
